Welcome to our exhilarating aerial arts workshops! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced enthusiast, our workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore the world of aerial arts and perfect your skills. To sign up, simply follow the steps below:

1. Select the specific workshops you’d like to attend from our exciting lineup. Click on “Reserve Now” to access our Workshop Forms registration page.

2. Then fill out the required information and complete payment. (If you have a free workshop class, please have your code ready).

3. Once you have submitted your registration form, you will receive an email confirmation.

4. If your desired workshop is full, please make sure to join our waitlist so we can keep you informed.

Workshop Prices

Each workshop you wish to participate in is $53.64

Unless you have the EBS or Full Package,
you receive one FREE workshop.
Any additional workshops you sign up for are regular price.
Payment options are included when you choose to reserve in a designated workshop.

Do I have to pay for workshops?

No. WCAAF contestants that purchased the Early Bird Special or Full package have received ONE free workshop class.

Yes. Those contestant that have purchased the Basic Package will need to pay for the workshops that they wish to participate in

Yes. If you want to do more than one workshop each additional workshop you wish to participate in is $45. 

Yes. Our workshops are offered to all aerialist. If you are only interested in taking workshops, reserve your workshop now. Don’t forget to complete payment at our online store.

Yes, we offer the opportunity to make in-person purchases on the day of the event, allowing you to evaluate your options firsthand. However, we cannot guarantee availability as workshop reservations are on a first come first serve basis.

Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds for workshops. However, we may be able to exchange your workshop spot into a different workshop if availability permits. Please email us for more details.

• Corde Lisse technique fundamentals; essential positions and movements to form the
foundation of precise technique and progressions
• Introductory climbs, tricks, and sequences
• Intermediate to advanced tricks and combos, as deemed appropriate to student skill-level
and experience
• Creative exploration of individual movement; students are encouraged to discover a style
of movement unique to their bodies, an approach that gives them the ambition, excitement
and passion to continue their own training and artistic process
• Strength & Conditioning; as an intrinsic part of corde lisse, students will take in techniques
and exercises to help build their strength at every level

Up In the Loops- Flow and Sequence

In this workshop, students can expect to work on a series of body loops drops and skills with an emphasis on moving through our sequencing with strength and control on the aerial hammock! We’ll work to put everything together into a short choreographed combo exploring different movement styles and moods. This workshop is open to students at an intermediate level.

Let’s create a stage-ready face for your next show! Learn makeup techniques commonly used by professional artists to help your character stand out and last through an aerial performance. Makeup can be a very useful tool in helping you embrace your stage presence. There is no absolute right or wrong way to do makeup. You will also learn budget-friendly hacks! Even if you don’t have everything in your makeup kit, that’s okay. Bring your makeup kit, tabletop mirror, and let’s have fun!

In this workshop we will learn a couple tricks using loops and the negative space we can create between our body and our apparatus. We will also start to create our own tricks an sequences using the loopy/negative space method!

Active flexibility is about doing exercises that will develop our body’s possibilities of going further in muscle, joints and tendon flexibility, using strength at the same time as working on pushing our limits. This will create both force and elasticity at the same time, which will protect our body from injuries. Having a conscious warm up before arriving at our limits will be important, as well as taking care of a healthy posture continuously.

Prerequisite: Students must have the strong ability to invert and endurance to stay in an inversion.

This workshop is for students new to partner work in the horizontal apparatus. In this workshop students will learn to work and move together, exploring and sequencing mirrored shapes and basic basing/flying.

Straps technique can be fun and complimentary training to your aerial career. This workshop is geared towards aerialists that may have been curious about starting straps or have already developed an interest but haven’t yet focused on straps training. We will train static fundamentals, including single arm work. We will also learn a fun sequence that you can continue to adapt and add to your repetoire. All students in this class should be comfortable inverting on any aerial apparatus.

This incredible art form has captivated audiences for centuries, with its mesmerising displays of balance, flexibility, and sheer audacity. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a curious beginner, hand balancing offers an unparalleled opportunity to push your physical limits and unlock hidden abilities within yourself.

Led by safe and caring instructor Sasha Fedortchev. We’ll work together to properly warm-up, learn and apply skills, and cool down. Exercises may include handstands, frog stands, planches, L-sits, elbow levers, presses, leg lifts, and more. Drills will utilize a variety of equipment to help us push ourselves to the next level!

This class is appropriate for students who are very comfortable on the aerial hoop and want to take their skills to the next level. Arm protection needed for elbow and hip circles.

Beats and circles and drops, oh my! In this class we will explore the dynamic side of Aerial Hoop. We will focus on technique and explore movements that require momentum, including different kinds of beats, drops, circles, and transitions between dynamic skills. No spinning needed, just momentum, strength and control.

Arms Roll Ups are hard but very beautiful and impressive trick to learn on an Aerial Silks. I will teach you how to wrap properly your arms and how to do Rolls Ups correctly and safe. This class requires a strong upper body.

Prerequisites – This class is designed for students who are naturally flexible, and already training contortion skills. Experience or a strong willingness to explore these areas is expected. Entry/ exit into bridge from standing, hands and feet close together in a bridge or catch ankles, forearm bridge; 3 sec handstand and/or forearm stand, working chest stands.

***This class is 75 min. It is strongly encouraged that you warm yourself up before class. This class does not include a basic warm-up. At the start of class time, you should be appropriately warm and ready to begin with splits and backbends. Please remember to have water and hydrate regularly!

Recommended props are 2-4 yoga blocks and a strap.

Most people think the art of contortion is the art of being flexible; in reality it is the art of controlling flexibility, and looking effortless while doing it. This class will be a fundamental strength and technique class for those interested in continuing their exploration in the discipline of contortion. Through a variety of flexibility and conditioning techniques we will get your body bendy and work towards developing control, awareness and understanding of the body with regard to the principles of contortion. We will focus on advanced stretching exercises for back bends, and move into contortion style poses that may include bridge variations, forearm stands, handstands, chest stands. Rebecca will guide you through the techniques she has learned over years of training and teaching as a circus artist and contortionist.
