Safety & Mat Disclaimer

I understand that my coach is strongly suggested to be present during my performance. Mats are required and available for all artists. Any act that requires flat flooring will need an additional person on site who will drag the mat when the competitor is airborne/suspended.

Competition Requirements

I understand that there are specific mandatory skills, time limits, and music requirements as outlined in the WCAAF contestant information and FAQs that need to be reviewed. I understand there are deductions that may occur to my overall score if I do not adhere to those specific requirements as stated above.

Time Limit Acknowledgement

I understand that regardless of the music length, the following time limits are enforced from the moment the contestant starts or move (if in a pose on the ground). Individual Routines: 2-3 minutes Duo Routines: 4 minutes Group Routines: 5 minutes

Vertical Usable Space

I understand that there are limitations to the amount of vertical usable space available according to my category. Violations will be subject to deductions in overall score. Novice participants cannot go beyond 15 ft in height. Amateur participants cannot go beyond 18 ft. in height. Elite and Professional can go to the maximum height of the venue but not to exceed 20ft.

Aerial Percentage Content

I understand that for any category, there must be at least 80% aerial related movement within your act. I am allowed to include ground moves to add to the cohesiveness of my act, but understand that judges are only required to score according to movements above the ground.

Costume Requirements

I understand that no props are allowed in my performance. I understand that my costume must be securely attached to my person. Any dangling of material (including unsecured skirt) may be subject to a deduction of up to ten (10) points.

Refund Policy

I acknowledge that WCAAF only allows refunds for the APPLICATION FEES within two (2) weeks of your purchase. If for any reason beyond these period, you are not able to participate in any way, you may transfer the payment to another participant. Alternatively, we can apply your payment to the following year, with fees and administrative costs deducted. To request a refund of your application fee, please notify us in writing via email

Event or Reservation Changes If the event you purchased tickets for or the reservation you made is postponed, rescheduled, or otherwise altered by the organizer, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you. Cancellations by the Organizer In the unlikely event that the organizer cancels the event or service, you may be entitled to a rescheduled date, an alternative service, or a credit toward a future purchase. Refunds will not be provided in such cases unless explicitly stated by the organizer. 4. Transferability of Registrations and Reservations Please note that we are unable to make any exceptions to our general purchase policy. We advise that you consider your purchase carefully and reach out with any questions or concerns prior to completing your transaction. If you are unable to attend the event or use the reservation, you may transfer your registration/reservation to another participant for this year. Alternatively, we can apply your payment to the following year, with fees and administrative costs deducted base on the time of your withdrawal.
